Former Black Cap Scott Styris says the "inmates have taken over the asylum" follow a decision to reduce bat sizes that has sparked outrage across the cricket world. The new laws were announced by the MCC and will mean players including Australian opener David Warner will have to trade in his Kaboom for a smaller model.
After October 2017, the maximum dimensions of a cricket bat will be 108mm in width, 67mm in depth with 40mm edges. Styris led a stream of criticism from former New Zealand, Australian and English cricketers as the reacted to the changes. I think this is really unusual and unnecessary there are so many other issues/ things that could be / should be changed in cricket. There are so many things happening in cricket that are wrong and should not be done but no one pays that much attention to them, i personally do not know how this is relevant and what is the point of wasting all that money. There is spot fixing for example which is getting worse and worse as it is emerging. That is an issue that needs to be fixed. Leave the bats alone.

New footage appears to show Louis Tomlinson's girlfriend being attacked by two other females at Los Angeles Airport. The One Direction singer was arrested after an altercation with a paparazzo at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday. his girlfriend Eleanor Calder appears to have been physically threatened by two people before Tomlinson rushed to her aid. Tomlinson first intervening after the photographer took pictures of Eleanor and invaded her personal space. While she walked away, Tomlinson tried to grab the man's camera. The pair then appeared to struggle before Tomlinson tripped and brought the photographer down with him. Tomlinson can be heard shouting, "What the hell is happening?" and, "Can we get some help?" before rushing over to help Calder, who was pushed into a corner by the two females. Tomlinson, 25, was later arrested and booked for simple battery. He was released on US$20,000 bail but is due to appear in court in Los Angeles on March 29.
I think this is not acceptable. How can someone get away with physically attacking someone else. I personally do not think louis should have been arrested because after all it wasn’t his fault. There was also a video clip proving that 2 girls physically attacked his girlfriend while he did not really have a choice but to push the 2 girls away. This is ridiculous i think this incident was not dealt with properly cat found in a trap A stray cat was found in a loose leg-hold trap in whangarei. It had to be put down after the trap almost cut through the animal’s paw. SPCA inspectors said the injured cat was found caught in a possum trap at a residential property in Riverside. The cat was taken to a vet but could not be saved because of the severity of the injuries, the trap cut almost right through the front right paw and the cat must have suffered a lot of pain.
I think this is simply just not acceptable. The message here is people need to make sure they educate themselves on the rules around setting traps, they need to be more responsible. I think people should constantly be reminded to not set up leg-hold traps in urban areas because of the risks to pets and animals. As an example The latest warning comes after a man last week who was fined after he admitted nailing a leg hole trap to a fence to catch possums. A 4-year-old cat was discovered dead, hanging from the trap by the left front leg about three days later on March 23, 2016. This is simply not right this comes under animal abuses in some ways. Every year, trappers kill 10 million raccoons, coyotes, wolves, bobcats, opossums, nutria, beavers, otters, and other fur-bearing animals. Trappers use various types of traps, including snares and conibear traps. This is inhumane Animals often struggle for hours, sometimes days, before they finally succumb to exhaustion, exposure, frostbite, shock, and death. This is simply just cruel. "Goooodbyeee raaacists!" "Goooodbyeee raaacists!"
That was the blunt - and unquestionably sarcastic - message one heated passenger delivered to a man and a woman as they were being kicked off a United Airlines flight Saturday evening for causing a disturbance that was blamed on racist comments. As the couple placed their bags in an over head bin, a male passenger - who was not identified by the airline - asked the couple if they had a bomb in their luggage, another passenger sitting nearby told KHOU. "That's not a bomb in your bag, is it?" the man said, according to the passenger. This made the rest of the passengers slightly uncomfortable as this question was irrelevant and comes under racism. Most customers appreciate a place where they feel safe and where they're not going to be attacked. The male passenger was removed for making others feel uncomfortable on the flight and for saying some inappropriate things to customers on the flight, noting that removing customers from flights because of disruptive behavior is exceedingly rare. I believe this was completely unnecessary and these comments are inappropriate and make other people uncomfortable. People who deliver these racist comments should definitely the consequences it requires. I believe that removing the male passenger was a sensible thing to be done. |
